The Divine Spark

The energy of April has been soft and calm. I felt the impulse to sit in deeper silence and stillness, inviting rest and restoration. In this moment of pause I felt the divine spark of inspiration come to me. Knowing that this illusive gift is not easily won and needs to be nurtured. The divine spark is a moment of clarity. A whisper of a new idea. Like a seed planted in fertile soil, it needs to be cherished and nurtured. My heart feels happy and at peace. Feeling like I have arrived at the destination I have been praying for. I am not yet ready to share where this spark will take me. I am still tending to the seedling and surrendering to the flow of this inspiration.

All of life is a masterpiece of our own creation. What we think about consistently becomes part of the reality we live. Allowing my life to slow down and simplify has been a challenge, don’t get me wrong. However, one that has afforded much return. My beloved often tells me that ” you always eat the bread of your labour”. No sacrifice is without reward. And stillness has a place in the flow of life as well. As we move into the colder months I am feeling the return to the inner cave of hibernation. This passage inward has given me more energy and focus to nurture this divine spark . This focus also allows me to fully open to my feminine softness. I am loving this era of my life. Increasing my capacity to receive is the medicine and mechanism of abundance. The divine spark is leading me deeper into my true path.

As a collective we are chronically ‘busy’. This imperative to keep moving, to keep hustling and bustling overwhelms the nervous system. Allowing yourself to fully slow down invites that spark of inspiration to take residence in your heart. Embodying this practice is serving me well. I am amazed, each day at how many things can be accomplished in this way of being. Moving with the impulse and rhythm of my cycles and taking responsibility for my actions. There is a certain level of discipline that is required for this way of being. As the divine spark of inspiration has landed in my life I am grateful. Aligning thoughts, words and actions is an important catalyst for the cultivation of inspiration. It needs action once the clarity has arrived. Inspiration also gives us purpose and direction. Moving in singularity for the birthing of the idea.

Focused energy is very powerful. Words cast that energy into being. When inspiration strikes, no matter the time, place, or situation, there’s an urgency to start. If you receive this gift of inspiration yourself, focus your energy on that flicker of the flame. Breathe life into it. Otherwise, it may not take form and find its way to someone else.

The words that I will speak for April are – ” grateful” , ” peaceful” and “loved”.

May the energy of these powerful words reach you. Until next time beautiful souls.
